How-to for editing biographical information

Biography pages are made with a 'template' for ease of organization. There are two, currently, "Person", and "PersonDeceased". Which one you use depends... well, you get the idea. You may wish to cut and paste the following into the biography page for "Person" ("PersonDeceased" to follow.)

Person is just the template name. "MainPicture" is a (relatively small) picture of the individual, which has been uploaded into the wiki with the "Upload File" toolbox item (left-hand side of the window.), which will tell you what this filename should be, e.g.
"MainPicture=[[File:McGrew.gif]]" would use McGrew.gif (the wiki will not allow two images with the same name within the wiki, so its guaranteed to be the one you want.)
Note the use of the "|" character as a delimiter. Please make sure you use them, or the "Person" template will not display correctly.
"Name=" is the name, e.g. "Name=Charles W. McGrew, MD, Ph.D". Please don't put a "Dr." in front of the name, since pretty much everyone in this wiki is a doctor of something.
"ACMIFellow=" Is the year in which the person was elected to the ACMI, e.g. "ACMI=1987", plus any notation of, for instance, award of and ACMI-specific award, like the Morris Collen Award.
"Birthdate=" is the year of birth (more precise values allowed)
"Degrees=" is for higher degrees, in free-form text, for instance "MD, Harvard Medical School, 1987; Ph.D Rutgers, 1982" You might want to place onorary degrees in the Honor and Awards section, rather than here.
"Current Position" is current positions, in free-form text.
"email" is an email address.
"ProAffiliations" is for Professional Affiliations, in free-form text.
"ProActivities" is for Professional Activities, in free-form text.
"HonorsAwards" is for Honors and Awards, in free-form text. Since election to ACMI is already covered above, they may be omitted here, if you wish.
"OtherWorks" is for works outside your specific profession, for instance writing a novel, or activities in professional societies not mentioned above.
"OtherInfo" is for anything else, that might not fit the above categories.
"CV" is a link to your CV, either uploaded to the wiki, or as a web link. (It just turned out that CV's were free-form versions of this database, and so inserting them into the database was duplication of information. However, a CV is a "first source", and so is valuable enough to be accessible through this wiki.
"SelectedPublications" are non-book publications, of the form:
Author(s), "Title", source, year/issue, addtional information -- e.g.
McGrew, D., Wickwire, T., "Computing Patient likely Outcomes", NEJM, 2009/2, reprinted in Time Magazine.
"Books" are books. These should be of the form
Title, Authors, Year, Publication information
"Additional Media" are either inline or hyperlink references to additional media (e.g. pictures, audio files, video, etc.) by or about the biographed person.
"Sources" are weblink or other description of sources of information not references above (or for media, in the media's "comment" field when uploaded.
For "PersonDeceased", rather than "Person", the entry headers are the same, except you should delete the "CurrentPosition" and "email" entries, and change "Birthdate=" to "Years:=" (include the colon); otherwise the suggested entry labels (and what should go where) are the same.
